INTERNATIONAL GATOR DAY

UFAA has designated Saturday, May 18, 2024, as International Gator Day, a day in which Gator Clubs® and Affiliate Groups around the world unite to utilize the size and spirit of the Gator Nation® to positively impact local communities.

The Gateway Gator Club has selected EarthDance Organic Farm whose mission is to train organic farmers and gardeners of all ages, providing connection a healthy food and the land, and cultivating vibrant community. We are calling on the Gator Nation in the greater St. Louis area to come out on May 18th from 8am - 11am and help mulch, weed, and plant annuals!

NEW CLUB OFFICERS ANNOUNCED FOR 2024-2025

Last year we did not have a full slate of officers and were not able to qualify for many of the benefits that UFAA provides clubs (a percentage of UFAA membership fees, free swag, credits and stipends to host events, marketing support, etc.). We are please to announce that we will have a full slate of officers for 2024-25 and look forward to planning and hosting more events. The officers nominated at last night's meeting are:

President - Rodney White
President-Elect (and VP, Communications) - Dan Boccabella
Treasurer - Chad Rorstrom
Secretary - Dave Propper
International Gator Day Organizer - Alyssa Coleman

HELP US PLAN EVENTS FOR 2024-2025

Here is your chance to give back to the Gator Nation and the greater St. Louis community! We are looking for someone to coordinate our Scholarship program.

At each watch party, we raise money through drawings for our scholarship fund. Donations made through our club-specific link during events such as Gator Nation Giving day also contribute to this fund. We'd like help determining what scholarships we can offer as well as eligibility and selection criteria. We can provide the details on what we did in 2019 (the last year we awarded scholarships) as well as the list of area students that will be attending UF. If you can help us identify and reward deserving UF students from our area, please contact us.

We host monthly Zoom calls for all of those wanting to get involved in planning and organizing future events. Please talk to us at a watch party or reach out to us via email or Facebook and we can make sure to send you an invite.
